Händels Chandos Anthems

The English nobleman James Brydges, the first Duke of Chandos, employed Georg Friedrich Händel to write twelve Anthems for the beautiful but rather small chapel on his country estate.

For the first time, all Händel fans (and everyone else!) will have the opportunity to hear three of these relatively unknown works performed in a setting similar to the one they were composed for with the original sized cast. They will be performed by 4 stellar singers along with the Kölner Akademie under Michael Alexander Willens.
